DYW Live: Scottish Careers Week
Education Scotland, e-Sgoil, Founders4Schools and Skills Development Scotland are working in partnership to deliver a range of inspirational talks from a wide range of industry experts through the week. Monday 13 November - 3:30pm to 5pm: This 1.5 hour webinar designed for employers of young people will discuss concerns and warning signs of on-line and in-person gambling, as well as how these can possibly lead to and exacerbate gambling harms for young people experiencing vulnerabilities and anxieties, from first time employment or a sudden influx of income.
What’s On Their Device - Peering into Students’ Digital Psyche
Monday 13 November - 15:45-17:15pm: This 1.5 hour webinar designed for educators will discuss the motivations behind and concerns regarding online behaviours while gaining an understanding about gambling-like features within video games. Explore how these can possibly lead to gambling harms for young people experiencing vulnerabilities as they prepare themselves for employment or higher education.
